One thing, drawn properly
Finite counts exactly one thing: being alive. No habits, no streaks, no notifications, nothing to keep up with. One grid, one life, and it’s already going rather well.
Where the numbers come from
Official national life tables — ONS for the UK, INE for Portugal, CDC for the US, WHO for the world. Named, dated, and never dressed up as a prediction.
This is life expectancy at birth. Anyone already alive has outlived the risks that figure includes, so a realistic number is higher.
And if you disagree with the statisticians, there’s a slider. Most people move it up.
Three ways to look at it
The shape of a life.
The shape of a decade.
The shape of a Tuesday.
Quiet mode
Some days you want the whole picture. Some days you’d rather just see how far you’ve come. One switch, no explanation needed — and it’s on every plan, including the free one.

Print it
£18 buys a print-ready PDF of your grid, up to A1. Print the file as often as you like, wherever you like. We make the file; the wall is your business.
Why this exists
Nobody needs another app. But almost everything we build to manage time is about filling it — calendars, task lists, streaks, reminders of what’s still outstanding. Almost nothing just shows you how much there is.
A life is roughly four thousand weeks. Written down, that number means very little. Drawn as four thousand squares, with the ones you’ve already spent filled in, it means rather a lot.
Finite doesn’t tell you what to do with the rest. It has no opinion about your habits and nothing to sell you about productivity. It draws one honest picture and then gets out of the way.
That’s the whole idea. It seemed worth building properly.
